Paid checkout is available only for certified plans. Start a free page, or choose an available paid level. Maker discovery is free after review, and there is no separate paid Maker plan; shops that want paid tools use the Local Shop and Business options. Local Voice paid checkout is not open yet. Payment is taken only when the selected plan is supported in owner tools. Paying does not buy confirmation, inclusion in a Guide, or a Featured slot. Product checkout appears only for shops whose payment account and marketplace commerce runtime are enabled.

What paying does and does not do

Paying never buys coverage or confirmation. Guides, Stories and recommendations are chosen independently. A paid plan does not guarantee inclusion. Writers choose. Paid placements elsewhere are always labeled. Every page is checked the same way, on every plan, with the date shown. Lists sort by distance, date or last checked. Never by who paid.
Anything we are paid to place is clearly labeled as paid, sponsored or a featured partner.
Fixing wrong or out-of-date facts is always free, on any plan.
Your descriptions, photos, offers and claims stay yours, and you confirm you have the right to use every image you upload, on every plan.
Offers and coupons are yours to honor: you set the terms, eligibility and expiration, and we do not guarantee them.
Stripe Checkout is used only for paid plans currently enabled for online payment. Maker discovery is free after review and has no separate paid Maker plan; shops choosing paid business features use enabled Business plans. Local Voice paid checkout is not open yet. Product checkout, inventory, shipping, refunds and fulfillment are available only on payment-ready shops while the marketplace commerce runtime is enabled.
Complimentary founding periods never ask for a card and never turn into a charge. When the period ends, you choose a paid plan or stay on the free level.
