Where to See Live Music in Northern Kentucky
Four active concert venues, how they differ, and what to know before you buy a ticket. Updated September 15, 2026.
Northern Kentucky's live music rooms are not interchangeable. MegaCorp can move a show indoors or outdoors. Southgate House Revival can run several shows in different rooms on the same night. Turfway's ticketed headliners are inside a 21-and-older gaming property. Truist Arena is the large arena option. The most useful thing is knowing what kind of night you are buying before you get there.
MegaCorp Pavilion
101 W. Fourth Street, Newport
MegaCorp Pavilion has an indoor and outdoor setup with a movable stage.
Worth knowing: The box office is cashless. Almost all events do not allow re-entry. Outdoor shows are rain or shine. Check whether your show is indoors or outdoors before you go. Ovation Garage entrances are on West Third and West Fourth streets.
Coming up: September 18 Jack White; September 25 Ole 60 with Kolton Moore & The Clever Few and Garret Elias; September 26 Knocked Loose and Denzel Curry with Superheaven and Boundaries; September 27 Leonid & Friends; October 1 Modest Mouse with Caroline Rose; October 7 Gregory Alan Isakov; October 20 Sugar with J. Robbins; October 28 The Living Tombstone; October 30 and 31 Haunted Fest.
The Southgate House Revival
111 E. Sixth Street, Newport
The converted church has three rooms: the Sanctuary, Revival Room and Lounge. Shows can overlap, and age rules differ by room.
Worth knowing: Check the room name on your ticket. Current listings include all-ages, 18-and-older and 21-and-older shows. The Lounge often has later 21-and-older shows, so the current event page matters.
Coming up: September 22 Joe Pug in the Sanctuary; September 24 Allison Eide in the Sanctuary; September 25 Jason Ringenberg in the Revival Room and S.G. Goodman in the Sanctuary; September 26 Lawrence Rothman in the Revival Room; October 2 The Brothers Comatose; October 4 Mammoth Music & Arts Fest.
Turfway Park Racing & Gaming
7500 Turfway Road, Florence
Turfway hosts national headliners in the Event Center plus regular live music at Churchill's Bourbon & Brew.
Worth knowing: Guests must be 21 and older. Ticketed national shows are in the Event Center. Churchill's also hosts regular free live music.
Coming up: October 2 Jesse McCartney at 9 p.m.; October 24 Daughtry: 20 Years Unplugged at 9:30 p.m.; November 21 Sara Evans at 7:30 p.m.
Truist Arena
500 Louie B. Nunn Drive, Highland Heights
The large NKU-campus arena hosts concerts, wrestling, family shows and NKU sports.
Worth knowing: Truist has a clear-bag policy. Concessions and merchandise are cashless, while the box office accepts cash and major cards. Child ticket rules are event-specific, and parking varies by event.
Coming up: October 3 All Elite Wrestling: Collision at 7:30 p.m.; October 11 Alabama with The Oak Ridge Boys at 7 p.m.; February 6 and 7, 2027 Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live - Color Bash.
