The Painted Tree in Crestview Hills is gone. So where did the makers go?
They had ten days to pack. Many kept selling. Their pages are on All of Here now.

If you shopped Painted Tree at Crestview Hills Town Center, you probably remember April. One day the aisles were full. The next day the doors were locked.
There was no sign in the window. No last weekend. No goodbye sale.
Vendors got an email on April 14, 2026. Painted Tree said every store in the country was closed. Crestview Hills was one of them. So was the Cincinnati-area store on Montgomery Road. Shop owners had until April 24 to get their stuff out.
That is ten days.
U-Hauls showed up in the Town Center lot. People packed booths that had taken years to build. WLWT said there were about 200 shops inside the Crestview Hills store alone. Some sellers thought the email was a scam. It was not.
What Painted Tree was
Painted Tree was not one store with one owner picking the candles. It was a building full of tiny shops. Local makers rented a booth, set it up like a little storefront, and hoped you walked by.
For a lot of them, that booth was the whole business. No backup shop. No extra warehouse. Just a space inside somebody else's building.
When the building closed, the makers did not disappear with it. That is the part that stuck.
Why this is on All of Here
This closing is why the local shops section exists.
Watching people lose their only storefront overnight made one thing obvious. A maker should not vanish just because the building around them does. They need a page that is theirs. A place people can find after the U-Haul leaves. A door that does not lock when a chain does.
So we built Shop local around that idea. The first group we put on the map were Painted Tree sellers from Crestview Hills. Those pages are live now. Some are still starter pages waiting for the owner to claim them and add photos. Some will grow into full shop storefronts. Either way, the point is the same: the maker stays findable.
If you sold there, that is also why we made a Founding Maker offer for this group. Claim your page. Build the shop. No card on file for that founding year. The work can live here even if the old aisle is gone.
Where some of them are now
This is a living list. It is not everyone. We only named people we could still find selling.
Cards by Jakob makes greeting cards, art prints, hoodies, and calendars.
Sawdust and Cedar had only just moved into Crestview Hills when the doors locked.
Crooked Creek Lifestyle is a faith-based lifestyle brand. In the days after the closing, they offered to help other vendors pack and ship.
Aspire and Glo, Dresser Up Vintage Boutique, Ana Grace Collection, The Lavender Sachet, and Mandy Mae'd Personalized Creations are still selling through their own sites and social pages. Dresser Up also has a shop in Newport.
Do not hunt for a raw web link in this story. Open the Found on All of Here cards below. Each one goes to that maker's page on this site.
What we are not saying yet
Some people hoped a new multi-vendor shop would reopen in the old Crestview Hills space. That deal did not hold. A later update from a vendor who planned to return said the landlord went with another retailer.
Other former Painted Tree buildings around the country have new tenants. Some local sellers have talked about new group shops. We are still checking those before we put names and addresses on this page.
We also have not listed every Crestview Hills vendor. A few names showed up in news stories and still need a current selling link we can stand behind.
The money part
This was not only a packing problem. Reporting since April has said many vendors were still waiting on sales from the first half of the month, plus deposits. The company told sellers they would have a chance to file a claim once bankruptcy proceedings moved forward.
We are not the court. If you are owed money from those last weeks, the claim process is the official path. This page is for finding the makers.
If you sold there
If you had a booth at Painted Tree in Crestview Hills, your page may already be waiting. Claim it. Add a photo. Tell people where you sell now.
If you know a vendor who is missing from this list, tell us. We will keep it current.
The short version
Painted Tree was a building. The interesting part was always the people inside it.
The building closed in April with almost no warning. That night is why All of Here has a local shops section. The first pages we made were for the Crestview Hills makers who suddenly had no aisle.
If you miss that store, you do not have to miss the people who made it worth walking through. Their storefronts are in the cards below.
